Exposure unit ALPHA LIGHT

ALPHA LIGHT exposure units are totally enclosed exposure systems suitable for use in an open work room. The unit is manufactured in a split construction, should the unit need to be split and reassembled on site use the following instructions. The front door panel should be removed via the four retaining screws. The internal cover panel should be removed. The control panel will fit through the doorway and should be rested inside the unit, being careful not to hit the lamp. The internal hose requires the bottom jubilee clip be loosened and the pipe slid off the metal retainer. The exposure systems are rapid start and come with either timer or integrator. The lamp is automatically cooled by a fan on the lamp house. Four retaining bolts can be found under the lip of the base unit near each corner, remove the bolts and the top unit can be lifted off the base. The fluorescent tubes should be taken out of the holders to avoid breakage. The lid can be removed if the unit has to go through a doorway less than 800mm, care should be taken to reassemble the unit correctly, if the lid is not positioned correctly the vacuum may be affected. To reassemble use the above instruction in the reverse order. These systems are extremely efficient and require almost no maintenance. They are robustly built and extremely reliable. Each unit is fitted with 6mm toughened glass. A safety switch mounted on the front side, gas struts to aid lifting and lowering and latch clamps.
